Evaluation test of removal performance for particulate matter in household air purifiers.
Introducing examples of removal performance evaluation tests for PM2.5 based on the Japan Electrical Manufacturers' Association standard (JEM1467)!
We would like to introduce our "Evaluation Test for the Removal Performance of Household Air Purifiers against Fine Particulate Matter (PM2.5)." We evaluate the time it takes to remove 99% of PM2.5 in a space of 32m3 (approximately 8 tatami mats). This allows us to assess the PM2.5 removal performance of the air purifiers we sell. By including the test data in the instruction manuals and promotional materials (brochures), we can appeal to customers with objective evaluations from third-party organizations. 【Test Overview】 - A digital dust meter capable of measuring the mass concentration of particles ranging from 0.1 to 2.5μm is used. - The benchmark for determining whether 99% of PM2.5 can be removed within 90 minutes in a saturated environment. - The test results revealed that the time required to achieve 99% removal is 10 minutes. *For more details, please download the PDF or feel free to contact us.
